Custom Crafts

Configure custom crafting recipes

Define custom crafting recipes for drawer-related items in the customCrafts section.

Basic Structure

Properties

Result

The item produced by the craft. Uses zMenu item configuration:

Shade (Pattern)

The 3x3 crafting pattern using letters:

Each letter represents an ingredient. Use space for empty slots:

Define what each letter represents:

Referencing Custom Crafts

Custom crafts can be used as ingredients in other crafts:

Example: Upgrade Display Frame

A common use case is creating an upgrade frame used in all upgrade recipes:

Using Player Heads with Textures

Giving Craft Results

Give craft result items to players:

/zdrawer give craft upgradeDisplay Steve

This gives the exact item that would result from crafting.

Tips

  1. Unique Names: Each craft must have a unique name
  2. Pattern Matching: Letters in shade must match ingredients
  3. Item Stacking: Result items with custom NBT won't stack with normal items
  4. Testing: Test crafts in creative mode before deploying

1. Copy the server URL

Transport: HTTP (Streamable HTTP). Authentication: none. Your tool uses its own model and subscription limits.

  1. Open Plugins in ChatGPT on the web, then + → Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it ‘GroupeZ Documentation’, paste the URL above and choose ‘No authentication’. Create and install the plugin.
  3. In a conversation, type @ and select the plugin before asking. If needed, enable search, get_page and list_pages in its settings.

Available tools are search, get_page and list_pages. Refresh the connector’s tools after updates. If your AI cannot access them, check that the connector is enabled in the conversation and your account allows custom MCP servers. Opening the URL in a browser is not an MCP test.
